Is a Fly More Combo worth it?

Almost every DJI drone comes as a standard kit or a Fly More Combo. What the combo adds, who it’s for, and when the standard kit is enough.

What’s in the box

A Fly More Combo usually adds extra intelligent flight batteries, a charging hub that charges them one after another, a carrying bag and spare propellers. Exact contents differ by drone — every product page lists them under What’s in the box.

Why batteries matter most

Flight time per battery is what limits a day out. With three batteries you can scout a spot, fly it properly and still have a battery for the shot you didn’t plan. The charging hub turns a pile of batteries into one simple routine: plug in once and they charge in turn.

Who should get the combo

  • Travellers and content creators who fly away from a power socket.
  • Anyone shooting sunrise or sunset, when the light changes fast and there’s no time to recharge.
  • New pilots — practice uses batteries quickly.

When the standard kit is enough

If you fly in short sessions close to home, or you already own spare batteries for the same drone, the standard kit may be all you need. You can add a spare battery or charging hub later.

Our recommendation

For most first-time buyers the combo is the better value — it usually costs less than buying the same extras separately. That’s why we recommend it on drones like the DJI Mini 5 Pro and the DJI Neo 2.
